One of the last things we did was a visit to the National Zoo in which Madisyn thoroughly enjoyed herself. Later we found an art shop in the historic district of Laurel a city about 30 minutes from our hotel. It was so quaint and like a step back in time. We had so much fun exploring the historic district and even went on a hike down to the river. On our walk we discovered a man sleeping under the brush( he actually looked scary) and it scared Madisyn so we headed back and then went to visit the Temple. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of DC and explore a little different culture.

Now it is time to pack up and go home so Madisyn can start school. We really had a wonderful time and it is a little sad to realize it is over.
